Discover the Mobicop Features
Mobicop has multiple features and functions that help the owner
of the phone PROTECT, CONTROL, and MONITOR his or her mobile at all
times.
Mobicop features include:
 |
SIM Change Notification:
Mobicop notifies you on your secondary number when your SIM card is
changed, allowing you to monitor the device.
|
 |
Locate and Monitor your Phone:
Mobicop will automatically send you the changed SIM number, plus
details like Country Code, Area Code, Network, Cell ID and Cell
Broadcast Message.
|
 |
Data Protection:
Mobicop protects your SMS data, phonebook, images, videos and any
other data. If the SIM card is replaced, the data will be
automatically hidden, and only you can retrieve it by entering the
password you have chosen.
|
 |
Memory Card Protection:
The moment the SIM card has been changed, Mobicop hides the
contents of your memory card.
|
 |
Attack Your Lost Phone:
With a simple SMS, you can put your stolen phone into Sleep Mode,
preventing any unauthorized use. The handset gets locked, and a
siren will blare if any effort is made to use the phone.
|
 |
Siren Alarm:
If the SIM card is changed, a loud siren alarm can be customized to
activate immediately. It persists even if the handset is
restarted.
|
 |
Customized Messages and Ringtones:
Mobicop detects a SIM change and initiates a Self-Attack on the
phone, locking the keypad and displaying a customized message on
the screen. What's more, a Mobicop ringtone (siren) is activated,
embarrassing the thief every time he/she gets a call.
|
 |
Uninstall Prevention:
Mobicop has an inbuilt uninstall prevention feature which prevents
the thief from uninstalling it using the application manager in a
SYMBIAN handset. When the unauthorized user tries to remove the
application, the screen goes blank asking for a password. The
uninstallation continues only if the password is correctly keyed
in.
|
 |
Emergency Dial Feature:
In the event that the phone has been lost and picked up by someone
who inadvertently gets the phone into an Attack Mode (SIM change),
Mobicop flashes the number of the owner's selected secondary
numbers on the screen and allows calls only to those 3 numbers
(selective calling).
